FAQ

What are Destination Wedding Photography Fees and Prices?

Our destination Wedding Photography services are priced the same as our home-based Wedding packages.

One of our most popular Destination Offerings is as                                           follows:

Day one is based on up to 5 hours of Photography.

Day two is our normal, unlimited time and images.

Day three is based on up to 5 hours of photography time.

The additional costs that our clients would be responsible for are as follows:

  • Airfare

  • Baggage Fees

  • Hotel Accommodations (typically 2 night in addition to the day associated to the Wedding coverage).

  • Rental Car (typically 2 days in addition to the days associated with the Wedding coverage).
  • Vendor meals on the days of the event – as professionals we appreciate the same quality of food and seating as your guests.

  • Per Diem: $50.00 per photographer and assistant for meals on travels and days not on the event.

How many people do we need to fly out?

Linda and I always work together, so unless you’ve selected our Video option, just the two of us.  We like to arrive a day in advance of your Wedding. The reason is we would like plenty of time to scout out your Wedding venue as well as to ensure that we will be on time to the location on the day of your Wedding.  As for the departing flight, we typically schedule our return the day after your last event, preferable at a later time of the day.

Do we need to book the flights?

We normally like to make our own arrangements, but if you are planning on using Travel/miles awards, we can just talk through it, as to times, seating and layovers.

Do you offer discounted packages for destination Weddings?

Unfortunately, we do not offer discounted packages for our destination Weddings, so the prices are as stated herein and within our overall price list for albums, etc.

Wouldn’t it be easier to hire a Wedding photographer who is already located at the location of our Wedding?

Not necessarily. Typically hiring a photographer from your Wedding location is not only more expensive but risker in terms of receiving your images.Past clients have decided against hiring foreign photographers for a couple of reasons. It is not only harder to coordinate with them about the details of your Wedding day but also if you were to have ant questions about your images and their availability.Rather than having to deal with a prolonged and inconvenient correspondence, you simply just come directly to us for assistance – you know where we work and live!
